Biographies
Jon Fletcher is a Liaison Librarian (School of Science & Technology) at Nottingham Trent University, with broad liaison responsibility for staff & student communication, collection management and information skills delivery. Jon has responsibilities upon various NTU project groups, and was a member of the SHARE project responsible for launching NOW’s Learning Repository.
Paul Molineaux is a French & Linguistics graduate who has been at NTU since 2002. He is part of the Learning & Teaching Support Unit in Arts & Humanities, where he manages the University’s Language Resource Centres and supports the use of NOW.
Philip Wane teaching is focussed on the impact of technology on society and essential IT and research methods for undergraduates. Phil has undertaken research for several external educational organisations with a special focus on blended/e-learning especially the potential of video. He also acts as an academic referee and reviewer.
Nicola Siminson – Community Enhancement Officer. I have been working for Jorum since 1st of September 2008, and am here to engage with and extend Jorum’s user and contributor bas, promoting Jorum and the benefits it can offer to those involved in creating and using digital learning and teaching content in FE and HE.
Kate Borthwick is an academic coordinator for e-learning at the University of Southampton. Kate was the project manager for the HumBox and Community Cafe projects (JISC-funded) and has been involved with several JISC-funded projects exploring the use of repositories with the languages community. She delivers training in the use of technology for teaching and is an online materials developer with a background in linguistics and English-language teaching.
Yvonne Monterroso is the technical product manager for Learning Repository at Desire2Learn Incorporated. She has been working with the SHARE project team and Nottingham Trent University over the last two years. Yvonne graduated from University of Waterloo and has been part of the Desire2Learn team for 6 years.
